Spirit Baptism
Rev. Jean Morgan

JEAN R. MORGAN,
JR., M.A.

Jean Morgan received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 11. He was baptized with the Holy Spirit when he was 12.
While serving in the US Navy he was stationed in Rota, Spain. He served as a member of the leadership team of a church for military families. It was there he received his call from God to be a minister of the Gospel.
Following his military service he attended Vanguard University (then, Southern California College) in Costa Mesa, CA to prepare for fulltime ministry. He graduated with a B.A. in Religion and a B.A. in Psychology. He then pastored churches for 8 years prior to joining the Assemblies of God World Missions team as a missionary.
Jean and his wife, Sandie, served as missionaries from 1987 to 2009, first in Stuttgart, Germany during the Persian Gulf War and the Fall of the Berlin Wall. They then served in Greece where he led an international church as the senior pastor for 2½ years prior to developing a distance education theological school for the partner church that AGWM works with. While serving in Greece, he completed his M. A. in Bible and Theology at Continental Theological Seminary, Brussels, Belgium.
While he was in Rota, Spain he was asked to lead a Bible study for the church and teach on the subject of the Holy Spirit. He led his first Bible study knowing what he believed and had personally experienced, but unable to explain what he believed and why from the Bible. The following week the Lord placed a Bible reference in his mind, which for him was the missing piece for being able to explain the distinction between salvation (indwelling) and baptism with the Holy Spirit as demonstrated in the Bible.
He has developed this teaching and taught it throughout California, Greece and Germany, as well as in Kurdistan, Iraq. In Germany, the German Lutheran church asked him to teach on the subject to better understand Pentecostals. They asked for follow-up teaching on 1 Corinthians 12 – 14 to better understand the message of the passage.
Many have reported being baptized with the Holy Spirit following his teaching on the distinction between salvation and baptism with the Holy Spirit.

This series will help you know the difference between Salvation (indwelling of the Holy Spirit) and Baptism in the Holy Spirit. You'll also understand the Baptism in the Holy Spirit from the five expressions identified in the book of Acts and why tongues are the norm when Baptized in the Holy Spirit. You will also hear a clear explanation of how to Baptized in the Holy Spirit.

A Note From Pastor Mike
I am delighted to give Jean the highest recommendation to Churches and other organizations that want a clear teaching on the gifts of the Spirit and the baptism of the Spirit.

Jean is a delightful speaker who captures the heart of God's Word in simple language. Many in our congregation said, "This was the clearest teaching on the baptism of the Spirit we've ever heard."
